I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at NVIDIA (Santa Clara, CA) in Mar 2017
Interview
5 interviews. After interviews I did not hear back for weeks. When I was contacted I was told I would be getting an offer. They wanted me to start immediately. I was excited to start. Then I did not hear anything for weeks and then months went by. No would return my calls for emails, I stopped trying and then I get a call from the hiring manager that HR would be contacting me about an offer which they did. Once I started talking to HR I received an offer in a few days. I was excited to join the company but very disappointed in the process and the communication. You have to be very patient during the interview process.
Very lengthy, but enjoyed the process itself. You can tell that personality and culture fit is important to them. Job opening was cancelled as part of hiring freeze, otherwise I got the impression I was very close to an offer.
