I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at NYU Langone Health (Mineola, NY) in Feb 2025
Interview
I reached out to a recruiter on LinkedIn and had a screening interview and then was passed along to the HR recruiter for the location in which I was applying (mineola). Had a virtual interview with the HR recruiter who then scheduled a in person interview with the manager for the unit I was interviewing for. The interview with the manager went well. She had one of her staff come to talk to me to give me insight on the unit and two days after the interview I got an email about references check and today I received my official offer.

Interview
I originally applied for a virtual interview day. Once I was accepted, I chose a day to do my first interview, which was with an HR/talent acquisitionist.
And then the call ended with information about the position, salary, hours, benefits, etc., and I also set up my next interview with the nurse manager I would be working with for the following week.
The second interview with the nurse manager was more oriented towards nursing skills and critical thinking.
