I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at National Instruments (New York, NY) in Oct 2017
Interview
Met with recruiters at university career fair, and received a call to interview the next day. Interview was a one on one with half behavioral and half technical questions.
Two weeks later, I received an email to move on to the final rounds, which was an on-site interview in Austin, TX. The trip was four days with two travel days, Interview day, and free day to explore Austin. The interview day consisted of five 30 minute interviews: behavioral, technical, company fit, and two departmental interviews, as well as a 10 minute technical presentation. Four of the interviews were all behavioral, and presentation is meant to demonstrate how well you explain technical topics.
In both rounds, the employees were friendly, laid back, and approachable, which was representative of NI’s culture. The interview process was very well planned and structured.
I received an offer via email two weeks later.

Interview
I first met with them at the career fair in October and then had an on campus interview the next day. They are currently going through major changes in the company right now so I didn't have my next interview till January. I am currently still in the process.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at National Instruments (Newcastle upon Tyne, England) in Apr 2019
Interview
Received an interview two months after applying. First interview was mainly about times where I’ve demonstrated teamwork and customer service skills. Received feedback the following day with an invitation for a second phone interview.
The second phone interview was slightly more technical due to the interviewer focusing more on what I’ve done throughout my degree. They also asked if there were interesting achievements/hobbies that I haven’t put in my CV. Received feedback and an invite to the assessment centre the following day.
Assessment centre consists of a technical interview, a competency interview, a tour, a technical presentation and a group activity. Have yet to attend the assessment centre.
