Very disorganized interview process. Had a standard first interview that went off without a hitch, then National Life's team sent me no updates for an entire month. A month later, I was invited to a group video interview with two sets of interviewers scheduled back to back.
The second set of interviewers was friendly, but had not been made aware that the third set of interviewers was supposed to enter the same call to interview me after them. I logged off the call temporarily, and instead of informing the third set of interviewers that I was ready to speak with them, they were having a personal conversation in the call.
The third set of interviewers NC/NS for the call, and it was difficult to contact anyone to let them know I was logged into the call. The call was rescheduled at a later date, and neither interviewer apologized for missing the last appointment. One of them was clearly sitting in a public space in their home that was graced by multiple cameos from their family members in the background.
I will never apply to any other roles again with National Life, and was delighted when I received a rejection letter from them. Do not waste your time interviewing with their marketing team if you value and respect yourself.
