I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Neiman Marcus (Dallas, TX) in Apr 2015
Interview
Went through the interview process for the executive development program. Since the recruitment process was not through a college, my first interview was a phone interview. Was asked behavioral questions and about resume. After that was invited to a two day interview at their headquarters in Dallas. The first day included a tour of Dallas and a dinner with executives. The second day included two individual interviews, a group project, and a lunch with other assistant buyers. All interviews focused on behavioral questions

Interview
I interviewed for the Assistant Buyer role at Neiman Marcus, and the process was fairly structured but engaging. It started with a phone screening with HR, where they asked about my background, experience in retail or merchandising, and interest in the company. After that, I had a video interview with a hiring manager, which focused more on my analytical skills, vendor negotiation experience, and understanding of luxury fashion trends.

Fine interview, done virtually and in person. Hiring team was pleasant, but ultimately decided it was not a good fit for me moving forward. Definitely a great company to work for.
