I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at NetApp in Sep 2022
Interview
30-min "informal conversation" with hiring manager about my profile. At the 20th minute HM started to question missing one particular experience to which no reference was indicated on the job adv. Due to the lack of transparency, I did not prepare with examples to cover that area. But the initial communication was that they are looking for a junior HRBP with prior HR Generalist experience, so that the individual can grow from HR Gen to HRBP. The interview and the aftermath indicated the opposite. It did not feel like a real interview, I did get the impression that my application was not considered seriously. Internal applicant.

Question 1
Describe the scope of my duties as a HR Generalist. Experiences and responsibilities transferable to a Jr. HRBP position - how do I see my profile fitting in that role?
