Netcracker Technology Software Engineer interview questions

there were 4 rounds. 1st- written- there were 15 questions from logical reasoning, 10 from english, 4-5 from c& c++, 7-8 from computer science and java. 50 ppl were selected from around 150. 2nd-was group discussions- it was good.we were given 3 general topics and asked to discuss. 30 were selected after this round. 3rd- technical interview. mostly questions related to telecom were asked (about the call process in landline n mobile communication,announcements, data usage,devices used in telecom etc,and ip, optical fibres) as i have bsnl telecom training.i thought the interview was finished. but then,there were questions about programming-compilation n execution process,functions,pointers etc. he didn't ask me about java as i'm from ECE background. he did ask me about some unix commands because i've told him i know them. 21 were selected n we were asked to come the next day for hr round 4th- the hr,Mr.Hari, was cool,active n really encouraging. he asked me some simple hr questions first.my eamcet rank too. then,he asked-how much i score myself in logical reasonig,i said 9/10, he asked me a question in logical reasoning.(4 buckets of balls-but one bucket has different weight balls-we have to weigh it only once with a spring balance & find which bucket has heavier balls) i've answered it,n he said that i was the only one who answered that question among the 20. n asked me if i have any questions for him.i did ask a few. i got the feeling that i'd b selected. after that,they've announced the results.& 16 were selected and i was one of them.

selection process begins with a written test,then students(freshers) are selected based on that. later interview was conducted on programming languages followed by H R interviews. as i was an Electronics and communication engineer and Netcracker is in the field of telecom, they also asked me questions related to communications ( about many concepts of communications). though the interview process is a bit difficult, it is a very good experience.
