I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at New Balance
Interview
It's an individual interview with management. Sometimes (depending on the individual store) they'll have several employees as well as management speak with you to see if you're a good fit for the company/store. If they like you, they'll give you an offer and after that they submit the background check. Sometimes this process takes an unnecessarily long time. We had applicants accept other offers while they were waiting on their background check. That's the one think I would change about the process.

Question 1
Tell me about a difficult situation you've encountered in a previous position.
got a phone call, and asked for a walkin interview. met the manager and did interview on the spot. The interview was easy and polite. they asked me to contact me after week and called me afterwards.
It was one round. Very simple and asked me about my experience, and got back to me in a week. Just be prepared to answer and dress nicely to impress the manager, then you’ll be good
Basic interview with the manager, asking a few questions about general experiences. Nice experience, not very stressful, seemingly relaxed environment. Not too much professionalism demand for attire, basic all-black clothing
