I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in Aug 2019
Interview
It starts with a phone screen by a recruiter then you get called in for an interview. If the unit manager thinks you're a good fit, they will call you (they called me a week after the interview). A few weeks prior to your hire date, the onboarding coordinator will reach you and that's when the grueling process starts. NYP requires their employees to have a thorough background check, up-to-date immunization, and of course, drug screening. After you're cleared, the onboarding coordinator will send you details about your orientation. They will not give those details without you being cleared for everything first so check your email frequently and try to reply promptly as this can delay your start date.

Interview
I did one interview with HR followed by PCD through zoom. The interview did not last more than 30 minutes to an hour altogether. Overall, the interview process was laidback.
I had a phone interview first with the talent acquisition recruiter. Once I passed that, I had a virtual zoom interview with the Manager. All questions typically common for registered nurse questions.
