- Applied online. - Received first round interview via phone call. - Got second round offer; went to NYC headquarters for two 20-minute interviews with each department of interest. - Reasons for my negative overall experience rating: My first interview went well, and the individuals were interested, professional, and reasonable. My second interview with the IT department was frustrating and disappointing. The interviewer made multiple sexist remarks about women (stereotyping and condescending). He seemed like he meant well and was perfectly nice, but he was oblivious that what he was saying was outdated and offensive. Furthermore, he spent most of the time thinking aloud and gave barely any time for me to ask or answer questions. I was disappointed in NYP's selection of this interview representation, and it was difficult to look past.
