I am a former employee who was contacted by a recruiter on recommendation from a former colleague who currently works at Newegg and mentioned I was an ideal candidate for the role. Was interviewed by the COO who promised a round of interviews with the team, then was completely ghosted by him and the recruiter after repeated attempts to make contact and schedule interviews. After finding the role posted on other job sites for more than a year, I became even more suspicious. As someone who has worked here in the past, it's extremely disappointing to see that not much has changed in the 9 years since I've been gone (just check the reviews). Especially so since they're now a public company you'd think they'd get their act together. Stay far away unless you are completely desperate or in dire need of the work experience. They will overwork and underpay you. The company culture was extremely toxic and heavy on politics. You'll likely also feel very alienated if you don't speak Mandarin or Cantonese. Sorry to see the unprofessionalism continues because this could be a great place to work.
