I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Noom in Dec 2018
Interview
Many steps, but straightforward. From the initial application form, you pass through rounds of interactive questions and interviews. Each round, they seek to understand who you are, what your passions are, and how you interact with potential users. Since this is for a remote position, it's all computer-based. So it's really important to make sure you have a good computer, good internet connection, and good handle on scheduling online and using video chatting platforms. I am a tech-nerd so I loved every step of it!
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
What strengths do you bring to the table that would help you be a great Noom coach?
After submitting a self-recorded video introducing yourself, if accepted, you are invited to a video interview. The conversation explores your background, education and experience, as well as goals for your career. It was relaxed but professional.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why do you feel you'd be a good fit for this position?
A few rounds of interviews with leadership and then presented with a case study for a theoretical user of Noom of how to assist them through menu selection at a popular restaurant chain.
Interview process included a mock interview (digital) and a virtual 1:1 meeting with a Heath Coach. My 1:1 meeting ended up being a phone call rather than a virtual meeting.
