This process was a complete waste of time. I applied online, created one-minute interview, CV, etc. Then did first assignment with questions, then was invited to Zoom 10-minute "interview" and mock coaching. The 10-minute "interview" was ridiculous, the woman I talked to didn't have any questions and seemed disengaged. After 5 mintues of me asking questions about the company, she was ready to go into the Mock Coaching. I think I did well on the coaching (my style is gentle and supportive). I think that's why I didn't make it to the next step. Real Health Coaches and Fitness Professionals need to create real relationships with their clients and support them on long term behavior change. I think Noom is looking for virtual "Health Coaches" that will help them look good on paper... aka, help clients meet their somewhat unrealistic 3-4 month weight loss goals in the app. This is NOT health coaching. So... don't be fooled by the job title. It's seems to me that this is just another fresh "digital" take on getting people to pay money diet and get stuck in the cycle.
