I applied online. I interviewed at Nordstrom in Mar 2016
Interview
Basically just interviewed me for a sales job even though I intentionally didn't apply for it. The lady was very nice and easy to talk to. We were just on different pages for what we wanted out of the process. The company still interests me, but not for a sales position.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Nordstrom in Nov 2024
Interview
It was just a 15-minute call, no video, just audio.
The person just asked me generic questions, not focused on my previous experience or any personal insights I might have. The person wasn't very welcoming either, the whole process was uncomfortable. She didn't mention anything about the company, or the role. She barely introduced herself. On the next day, I got an email offering me the role and a letter of employment to be signed. I still had a lot of questions about the company and role, since I wasn't allowed to ask anything during the interview, so I replied to the email with my questions and they just ghosted me.

I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Nordstrom (Dallas, TX) in Nov 2018
Interview
It was smooth and the people are friendly. There is always option for upward mobility and that is one of the reasons I loved working there. They are looking for hardworking, outgoing people who want to grow within the company.
