I applied online. I interviewed at Nordstrom in Jan 2019
Interview
A lot of questions about you. Was a bit of a timely process and could've been shorten. Many training videos that you are obligated to watch. Training, communication, customers, processing, monies, stock, programs are some of the categories they touch on.
Easy and quick open interviews. First job and where I learned to dress right and work hard. Still to this day use the customer service skills learned here. Moved from cashier to sales quickly.
It was a group interview with a few other candidates. We were all greeted and taken into an office room where the interview took place. One of the managers conducted the interview.

Question 1
Tell us a little bit about yourself. What is your previous work experience? What do you know about Nordstrom's?
Overall pretty easy. Talked with general manager and they weren't looking for much experience. I just talked about why I wanted the job and how I was qualified. The role was open for a few weeks before I found it so I knew they were a little desperate.

They asked me what I would do if a customer was insistent that they were right.
