Nordstrom interview questions

I applied last night to multiple positions on the Nordstrom website, and today I got a call from Human Resources! Can't believe it happened so fast. The woman was very friendly and asked some basic questions (Why Nordstrom? What do you know about commission sales?). She asked me to come in Monday morning for a 1:1 interview.

I applied online to various positions for about a month before I received an offer for a phone interview. You get to pick from a range of dates and times for your phone interview appt. On my appointed date and time, no one called me. After half an hour of waiting, I called HR. Turns out the HR rep who was supposed to call me "forgot." Phone screen was about 5 minutes using basic interview questions, then an appt was set up for a face to face with the same rep for the next day. The next day, I waited 20 minutes before I was seen for my interview. A lot of behavioral questions regarding past experiences. I was also asked which depts I'd like to work in. Afterward, I was introduced to a stone faced, unfriendly dept manager from a dept different from the one I applied for. This threw me off a bit. I was asked the same questions, given a tour of the dept and asked to sell an outfit to the dept manager. Almost two weeks later and I heard nothing. Out of the blue, I received a phone call to interview with a different dept manager. This other manager was much nicer and we had a good rapport. Was offered the position on the spot.
