Three days before the interview I sent an email to my professor, expressing my interest in his research and introducing my background. Two days later, the professor responded to me and asked me to go to his office to talk. I talked to him. He showed me around his lab, asked me some questions.

Interview
they simply ask you what your future goals are and then assess if they think you align with their plan. It was really easy going and extremely casual, I did not feel any pressure during the interview.

Interview
One on one interview with one of the post-docs. Very casual, followed by a tour of the labs. Some of the questions referred to my prior experience while others were questions about handling fast paced environments. Additional questions about how I would handle conflict.
