I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman
Interview
First interview was with a few members of the team. Very relaxed, learning about the position, and they were asking if I'd be able to handle different parts of the role. Then they gave me an opportunity to ask my own questions. I then had an interview with the program manager who asked more about why I wanted this position in this industry. The offer came two days later
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (Huntsville, AL) in Dec 2025
Interview
The interview was relaxed and straight forward. It was mainly questions about past experience and future goals. Please try to have constant contact with your recruiter as this probably also made a huge difference for me.

What made you want to work in engineering. (This was mainly situational as the city i am from is dangerous and does not have any type of aerospace engineering available.)
It was simple, but overall, it was behavioral. The hiring manager was kind and explained in great detail what his interns would do throughout their time in the company and was very attentive,
interview was in front of a hiring committee . They asked a range of questions , some technical , some behavioral and some directed toward areas of interest on my resume.
