I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (Irvine, CA) in Nov 2024
Interview
They had 3 different steps. The first was a quick call, 2nd they assigned you an assignment to get people's contacts. The last was a full in-person interview. They barely looked at your assignment tbh. As long as you're well-spoken and outgoing, you should get the job. But it took about 2 months for the interview process to finish.
I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (Hartford, CT)
Interview
Was told about the program and how I would need to get certified to sell life insurance in order to participate in the program. The interviewer was laid back and relaxed. It was a group interview.
I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (San Jose, CA)
Interview
Three rounds with calls with the head of hiring and with the head of the department, all behavioral questions were asked at each round to get to know you and your network
I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (Washington, DC)
Interview
Very basic and straightforward behavioral questions, nothing technical. Have a good idea of what you would be doing and why you want to work there so that you can speak to your skillset and how it aligns with the job description.
