I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (Troy, MI) in Oct 2017
Interview
The interview process was very informal, which is not necessarily a problem. I felt very comfortable, but it also seemed that they were willing to hire almost anyone. Overall, would not recommend this place unless you are simply willing to out-compete their existing sales staff.
I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (Greenville, SC)
Interview
Very casual, over the phone, expect to cold call even if they say you won't. Almost zero technical questions and seemed rather rushed. Probably wouldn't advise unless you have no other options.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (West Hartford, CT) in Nov 2024
Interview
First was a phone call interview. Then in person with the cheif recruiter. They had me come in for a third interview to meet two more representiatives and gave me assignements to start building my clients
I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (Honolulu, HI)
Interview
The initial interview was fine. If you wish to proceed they'll give you an assignment that will take some time to prepare. If they offer you a position you'll find its mostly all networking through your personal connections for sales. Not ideal.
Interview questions [1]
