I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (New York, NY) in Jan 2011
Interview
Most people were hired by individuals. I had my interview with a financial advisor directly. He asked me about my education and tested my language skill (because I said I am fluent in Chinese). He asked if I am willing to start part-time, and I said yes. That was pretty much it. He said he will get back to me and I got an email from him two days after saying that he would like to have me.
Very easy but long. Phone screen, then 3 more rounds. First round is with your manager, then culture interview, then with some of the team, and lastly the higher ups.
I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (Chicago, IL)
Interview
Short. Interviewer/recruiter had loud noises in the background. I was told I would hear something in 48hours and it has been two weeks. Seems like a good company to work for but I guess I will never know.

Question 1
Tell me what you currently do in your current role?
Very simple process, only had 2 interviews and they were focused on past working experiences and goals for the future. They did want me to get my Life and Health license within 90 days of starting job
