I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (Milwaukee, WI) in Apr 2021
Interview
30 mins Recruiter call followed up by 30mins HM round where they explain about the job role and the company. The HM also asked about my current experience.
After that, 90mins call with HM and Tech Head. This round involved questions from resume and one coding questions. Overall, pretty good experience and easy interview.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual in Aug 2024
Interview
They called me for a phone screen but I missed the call. I called them back when I was free a few hours later and I continued to call them daily for a few days. I’m not desperate for a job, so I stopped calling. The recruiter said they’d be available that same day to talk, but they were not. This is a terrible recruiting experience. My application was submitted a month ago, and I’m just now hearing back from NM. However, now I’ve been ghosted.

Interview
30 minute phone screen. Pretty standard. I sent 4 follow up emails in a months time. Never got a reply, not one. Stay away because they aren't actually hiring. I was told I would hear back in two days if I was going to be moved along. It's been two months now.
