I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (Dallas, TX) in Mar 2022
Interview
No application for internship. Will call you to schedule an "informational session", present a few slides through a recruiter, then at the end will let you know that no application was necessary and that you've already completed the first part. The 2nd "interview" is to give you a prospecting assignment where you have to gather the information of family and friend.
It was good, simple, and they provided a lot of information on what the position would look like. They explained the reasoning for commission-based pay, and how they help support new interns with that.
I had an interview with northwestern mutual but im seeing a lot of people say its just a pyramid scheme to cold call people in my network. is this true?

They asked me super basic questions: Why would we benefit from adding you?
