I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Northwestern Mutual (Saint Louis, MO)
Interview
During my interview process for Northwestern Mutual, I initially submitted a resume to highlight my relevant education and experience. This was followed by a screening call conducted by a current advisor with the company to assess my basic qualifications and fit for the company's culture. After passing this stage, I participated in several in-depth interviews with various representatives at Northwestern Mutual, including finance team members. These interviews evaluated my technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and interpersonal abilities.

Question 1
How do you stay updated with current financial regulations and trends?
Give an example of a complex problem you solved. What approach did you use?
Describe a time when you had to analyze a large set of data. What process did you follow, and what insights did you gain
Straightforward process, interviewed with them on campus. They provided the information I needed. I decided to not move ahead with the interview process as it did not align with my goals, but the interviewers were cordial and professional.
Felt like they were selling me something the whole time. Super easy to talk to, but something just felt off the whole time. Had multiple phases of them explaining why they're so perfect and great to work for (massive selection bias in some of their numbers)
