Interview
The interview was a fairly informal process. Meetings w/ the current team, senior leadership, project managers, etc.
No difficult questions pertaining to software development/engineering. Mostly questions pertaining to educational experience and exposure to various topics.

Questions pertained to applying quantitative methods and statistical analysis tools (specifically STATA but depending on the department, other tools were welcome).

Interview
Day long interviews are set up by an administrative assistant, after which you meet with several faculty and staff. Generally, you meet with personnel in the specific department that you're applying for (oncology, internal medicine, etc). Interviews last somewhere between 15 minutes and 1 hour. Lunch is included.

The most difficult questions were about bioinformatics techniques. If you work in -omics data (proteomics, genomics, etc), this shouldn't be a problem for you.
