I was contacted to complete a phone screening with an HR representative. A month later, I was contacted for a behavioral interview, and afterward went through referrals and recommendations, and then was offered the position

Asked questions regarding research experience, asked to discuss things apart from resume. Spoke particularly about experience with language in a social context. Discussed why I wanted the position and spoke about interest in sociolinguistics, experience with creating language, participating in spelling bees, taking sociolinguistic coursework. Experience with qualitative and quantitative research.
