I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at O'Reilly Auto Parts (Springfield, MO) in Aug 2014
Interview
Interview was very casual. Department managers made you feel comfortable. I met with the department manager and assistant manager. Both were very friendly and asked questions regarding my personality and what I was interested in. We discussed home life and interests. Then they explained how the department was separated into 3 groups and what each group did. Then I was asked which group I was most interested in, I said I would be interested in any of them. I was then taken on a tour of the entire floor and met with multiple employees and a few managers.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at O'Reilly Auto Parts (Springfield, MO) in Feb 2017
Interview
Very young HR representative asking the normal questions of how I have acquired my 25 years accounting clerical experience; 8 plus years in automotive retail/corporate experience for Western Auto Supply Company. More ridiculous testing that made no sense, nor in my opinion has anything to do with my capabilities to perform the job duties I was applying for. The interview was on Wednesday with the HR Rep....Rejection email received by Friday. I have inquired the reason for not getting a second interview and why I can't get my foot into the door. I just want an honest answer from someone who does not have a clue of how detailed my experience is.....
