The phone interviews were fine, but when it came time for my onsite to present my work, I felt immediately judged and not taken seriously (which asks the question-if you didn't like my work, why did you invite me onsite to begin with).
Some of the staff were cool and easy going, but others were either trying to interrogate me with a critical eye, or were just plain rude, I couldn't tell. One guy came into the presentation late, and didn't even bother shaking my hand before leaving.
I don't mind my work getting critiqued, but to be so rude about it was unnerving and made me realize what kind of people I'd be working with if I were to accept. One of the interviewers even told me privately that she thought they were being very unfair in their criticisms-as for one, I'm a writer not a designer (and the criticisms were about design decisions).
It seems like the kind of place where people come for a paycheck, but aren't super happy to be there.
