I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Okta (New York, NY) in Sep 2020
Interview
This was probably my worst interview experience in my life. I had several rounds of interview before I reached the virtual on-site interview. First, the virtual on-site interview was split over multiple days, so obviously I had to take off for 2 days. Second, after preparing for the onsite interview, the first part was to deliver a self-presentation and a portfolio. After that I went into a couple of one-on-ones, and the recruiter suddenly popped up in one of my interview and said that they don't want to continue to interviewing further. She literally asked me to drop off from the call and there was no need to join the next day. This was extremely humiliating and I'm glad I was not there in person for the on-site interview.
And I'm also glad I never joined this company.

Question 1
how would you collaborate with product manager, developer and other team members?

Interview
overall pretty straightforward forward although long. had 4 interviews that went: recruiter > hiring manager > portfolio review with sr team member > product chat / thinking challenge the chat was definitely conversational, not something you need to prep for.
