I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Old Navy in Mar 2014
Interview
I had a group interview with three other applicants, a manager, and two current employees. The manager conducted the interview, while the employees were there to answer any questions we had. It was a very relaxed interview and we were never directly asked questions. We played a few 'get to you know you' activities and worked through a few scenarios. At one point we were all given a different customer scenario and then we were sent out to the floor to pick out an outfit for the customer. Overall, the interview was fun and really relaxed. About a week later I received a call to come in for a second interview with the head store manager. This was more of a traditional one-on-one interview, but short and laid back. I got a call a few days later to schedule my first shift.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They did ask us to bring in an item that showed something we were passionate about.
Group interview, almost like a game with dice used to answer questions. Each person had to share what they thought and take turns. Pleasant interview process, very casual. Some applicants wore jeans

Question 1
What's something you think will come back in fashion?
Most of the interview was basic and what you would expect, but they did include a portion where you pretend to help customers looking for outfits/items for specific occasions and that makes it fun!
