I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Oliver Wyman (Boston, MA) in Nov 2017
Interview
Lots of my peers had previously worked at O W and so I had a good idea of the culture. I had two interviews: cultural fit and case study. The cultural fit involved things like: why work here, what do you enjoy doing, competency questions. The other was a market sizing case study but it was all oral, which was disappointing. I don't think it was measuring things well, and it was outside the area in which I would want to specialize. A missed opportunity for them.
The managing partner behaved quite uninterested from the start of the call; she was late and kept pressing me on time. It was clear to me from the start she did not want to hire me. The experience with the other interviewers was good.
Case interview two rounds no industry specs but very thoughtful questions. Had to sell self as client facing. Overall good process I’d say, designed to get people who can succeed
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Oliver Wyman (Paris) in Nov 2024
