I applied through a recruiting firm. First, one of the office managers reached out to me for a phone screening, then two weeks later an associate at the office reached out to me for a second round. After that, they scheduled a final multi hour interview where I talked to one associate at a time including a case study. I got the offer within two weeks after the final round.
The actuaries in the life practice coordinate and conduct all the interviews (rather than HR) so the timing may be slower than other firms.
