The recruiter was direct to the point of being aggressive and rude at times. The recruiter was also quick to make assumptions, so I’d be careful with your words. This company also seems obsessed with numbers, so be prepared to quantify everything about your current and past jobs even if it has no bearing on the job itself. Overall, I did not get a friendly vibe, but it was great to get an early indication of the culture at Open Text. The interview helped me understand that the company was not for me. As a positive, the company felt the same way and updated me that they weren’t moving forward with my application. It’s great to get that feedback because not all companies provide you an update on their decision.
