I was called through referral. Hiring process at this office is ambiguous. I was interviewed for two teams and was not given any feedback at any point. First team only two rounds happened which was mainly focussed on testing. Second team was hiring for automation QA, and there were four rounds which I went to attend. They wanted someone with Java and Linux experience and I know python well. Based on problem solving I cleared 3 rounds, but Java would have helped to cross the bar. I’m new to Linux so couldn’t answer fundamental questions like OS based questions about how the program/software is installed in a computer, what is registry, and how OS interacts with a software. I did mention that I’m a newbie but I guess it was not considered. Following are the generic questions asked in all the interviews:
API Testing
Oops concepts
Test case writing
Project description
Career goals
Logical questions based on binary search, linked list, swap two numbers without temp
Selenium locators and login test script
Polymorphism, exceptions in Java
Hackerrank questions for 60 minutes
Hope this helps.

I applied online. I interviewed at OpenText (Hyderābād) in Apr 2018
Interview
Open text is the most unprofessional organization and worst interview panel I have ever taken till now. I am working in Pune but my family is in Hyderabad so i have attended Open text interview in Hyderabad.
They have multiple round.
1.Hacker rank Test
2.Telephonic interview.
3.Face to face Technical.
4.Manager round.
5.Director Round.
Face to face technical ,Manager and Director round was in Hyderabad and on weekdays which they took around 4 hrs . After taking so many rounds of interview They said wait outside Hr will inform .After waiting for an hour receptionist asked me to leave for the day .I feel It was the most unprofessional behavior because I have travel on weekday all the way from Pune to Hyderabad and after spending four hours of interview and I can’t expect that Hr doesn’t have that much of time or curtsy that to at least meet inform the same .It was very disappointing. After that i called to Hr she said result didn't came out she will update me. After few days of waiting when I called her again she said you are not selected. When i asked for feedback she doesn’t have a proper feedback. First of all even if I have not select, Hr should update me but they don’t have basic sense. Second thing after taking director round I am not sure what could be reason for rejection since I have a family problems so i didn't asked for the salary hike also .The person who took my director round, He asked me only three basic question and clearly I feel he was at all interested to take my interview .
Open text you have to understand ,Any company want a good employee and candidates want company where they can show their potential ,Basically you approached to your candidate . It is not like candidates asked for interview . If you are hiring professional behave like a professional. I am Glad that you didn't hire me because if a company can't behave well with to their employees, It's is not worth of joining .
