1. Initial round - 30-45 mins PHONE CALL from HR asking long questions with a poor connectivity - never seen anybody interviewing on a phone call (no internet call). She had a thick accent from UK. 2. Tech round 1 - two managers taking a deep dive on projects and experience, one of them has zero listening ability, lowest communication skills for a Principal, poor English speaker. When the candidate is answering he would cut in the middle and ask something for the sake of asking questions.

Had 2 rounds of interviews and both of them went really well, lovely interviewers as well. After the 2nd round I was told that the interviewers were really impressed, recruiter asked me about my relocation process which all went pretty well and he said 'unofficially' it was all good and to expect the offer in a few days in the same week.. until I told him that I was going on a short trip the next day - which should have no effect on the process because I completed everything and was leaving the next day - but the recruiter got annoyed, asked me where I am going and asked all sorts of question around my trip and the whole attitude changed. It should not have any affect on the selection process (right?) as my notice period was only 2-4 weeks anyway. He called me the next day and said the interviewers have selected someone internally and I was out of the process. It was all so bizarre. Steer clear of any of your travels/plans/your home country because they can use that against you for reasons unknown.
