I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Optum (Telephone, TX) in Oct 2019
Interview
Very prompt, professional and well organized telephone interview. Talent sourcing professional was very responsive and personal. Clearly described next steps and timing for the position. The sourcing professional listened well and asked appropriate follow up questions. She was well versed on the mission and values of the organization and applied it well for the position for which they were hiring.
The business interviews for technical expertise and the HR team interviews as well. The people are great and the questions are fair. There is a lot of change going on in the organization so the process was extended.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Optum
Interview
7 rounds of interviews and not even the dignity of an email reply nor a rejection email. At this level, please consider the fact that people deserve AT LEAST an email reply saying that you’re going a different direction. You ask for an enormous time commitment but won’t even send a follow up. I followed up with the recruiter twice over two weeks and was not even sent a reply to my email. Extraordinarily unprofessional and if this is indicative of how this company treats people, I’m glad I did not receive an offer.

Question 1
Describe your management style and how you’d turn a team around.
Interview was nice. Had several rounds. Went on for over 6 months. Spoke with bunch of folks in India, US and elsewhere. Eventually figured that I'd perhaps like to do something else, and opted out of the continuing process
