I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Optum in Nov 2024
Interview
I had a terrible interview experience. I had the misfortune of being the last out of almost 70 interviews (on-campus), and I believe they already had the candidates they needed. My interview was scheduled to be an hour long. The interviewer started 15 minutes late because the previous interview was taking too long. Asked me about myself and favourite subject and then asked me to present a project from my resume (with code and output). All this took 15 minutes, and my interview ended. There were absolutely no other technical questions asked, and I don't think my skills, as a person or technically, were evaluated at all. They had a great product and I was looking forward to the interview, it was disappointing,
The interviewers were really good and made me comfortable during the process. The major problem that followed was my primary programming language. They were leaning a little more towards C# and were expecting the same from me.
