The interviewers had very little understanding of the role and the more senior of the interviewers, who was more removed from the role, unfortunately dominated the conversation. When I was called back for a second interview, I was told by the assistant to the SWOG Chair that I had to meet with him in a matter of hours as that was the only time he was available. I explained that I currently had a full-time job and could not take off with such little notice for the second interview-- effectively declining the job.
