Orrick Training Contract interview questions

I attended an Open Day after completing an application form online. This included a first round training contract interview with a senior associate and a member of the HR team. The Open Day itself also included various group exercises and panel Q&A sessions provided by the firm.

Consisted of an interview with senior associate and graduate recruitment. there was also a group exercise and a written task. mixed range of people. some lawyers were very friendly, professional and intelligent. others seemed more informal, and not necessarily in a good way. graduate recruitment were not on top of things. the majority of the firm seemed to be lateral hires, including associates from high street firms.
