A few days after submitting application I received an invite to interview. The interview was easy but I was clearly overqualified for the position. I subsequently applied for a position that aligned better with my background, I received an email the following day from the HR person saying that she and the hiring manager agreed that I was much better suited for the new position I had applied to. I never heard back even after following up with an email. I doubt that my info ever reached the hiring manager
