Nice conversational talk with head of talent who seemed nice. Then spoke to an exec, which wasn't an interview but a general chat (I was only asked 2 real questions in a 1 hour interview 1. on conflict with my report and how I dealt with it and 2. what would I do if I joined straight away) . However, this place does not ask any real technical/challenging questions which is surprising given the relative seniority of the role. Overall came away with the impression that advancement would be based on relationships over merit and that they rely on trigger happy firing/performance culture than getting it right at the interview stage. Also FYI to interviewees outside US, appreciate that a director level in the UK carries more weight than the expectations of a director level in the US, it is relatively junior in terms of the experience they expect. I respectfully withdrew from process.
