      I interviewed at PACCAR

      Interview

I applied and just over a month later got a call to schedule a short 30 minute phone screen. The phone screen was very casual and more of a conversation than anything else. After that, over a month goes by with no word until they email me again to schedule an in person interview. I email back my availability and again a week goes by with no word. Then they email with saying my interview is in less than two days and that I need to have a presentation prepared. In addition, business professional attire is required. The first part of the interview is a short interview with HR. They ask you basic behavioral questions and note down your responses. Next is a 15-20 minute presentation about a project you have worked on. Finally, there are two panel interviews. One is with the team you may be working with and one is with the managers. The questions were all behavioral (no technical) and there was some overlap between the questions asked by the two groups. You could probably Google "common interview questions" and get a good idea of what they will ask. It has been two months since my interview with no response, so I assume I did not get the job. However, I would like to have gotten a rejection email instead of being ghosted. The interviews themselves were fine and everybody was polite, but the lack of communication is frustrating.
