Interview
The phone interview was quite easy, short, and pretty much all situational. There is also a math assessment which goes up to Gr 12 level questions. But it is not proctored.

How would you deal with a difficult student who is refusing to collaborate?
Phone interview with some basic education questions. Pretty straightforward. Also, an online test of some skills regarding STEM. The test was more advanced than I expected to tutor but well within my skill set and what can be reasonably expected in an interview.

How would i describe multiplication to a 3rd grader. They posed a question and ask me to teach it at that level.

Very easy. the phone interview was for 15 min approx. Just some basic questions about your background, time-commitment, and past experiences working as a tutor. Usually, they send the offer within 2-3 business days.

I submitted application online choosing what tutoring capabilities I had. Took online exam over mathematics topics, then had a 20 minute phone interview asking about tutoring experiences that I had had in the past.
