I applied online. I interviewed at PENNYMAC (Los Angeles, CA) in Jul 2019
Interview
The interview process started with the manager's call. After a week's time I was invited to give an in person interview at their Westlake village office. I met the team and interviewed with 4 people. There were some technical SQL questions which were easy and questions about your past work experience. The whole process was very quick.

What are indexes? Was made to write a query based on joins and aliases.
Initial phone screening that took less than 20 minutes. At the end of the interview, the recruiter stated that she would move me ahead and have me interview with the hiring manager. It didn't happen. Lied directly to my face. Waste of my time.

Question 1
Can you describe your previous experience using Python and ARIMA?
Lots of interviews virtually. Some asked very challenging quantitative questions. I don’t think everyone will have this experience though. Be ready for anything. Some people will ask for experiences while others want to see what you know.
