I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PNC Financial Services Group (Virginia Beach, VA) in Jul 2012
Interview
I applied online, got call back the next day from an HR person. She just asked a few quick questions about sales and cash handling experience. She also explained the location of the position and the work hours, etc. I was then told I would be e-mailed a link for a personality assessment test. I took the test and in a couple of days another person from HR called me and said I passed the test and now I would be set up for a formal phone interview. The interviewer called me the next week and was very nice and friendly. She asked me to go over my work experience and asked some typical customer service interview questions. This interview lasted about 30 minutes. She said that she wanted to go ahead and set me up with a face-to-face interview with the branch manager. So I will be going to that interview next week....

Question 1
What is the difference between customer service and the client experience.
All AI and no real people. Made you do a round of interviews that were one way and then made you do a videogame test that wasted your time. It's clear this company does not care to hire real people to talk to you.

Question 1
Imagine you are in a situation where you have to make an important decision quickly. To make the decision, you gather information from multiple sources, but you notice that the information seems inconsistent or confusing. How would you approach this situation? Please describe the actions you would take.
You apply online. Then do a video HireVue interview. Which is where you record yourself answering about 9 questions and have 2 attempts doing so. Fairly easy, situational questions, but a little annoying for people who have never recorded themselves before. After that, a recruiter calls you for an in person interview. Which is pretty much answering the same questions you answered during the video interview. Then it’s the waiting game. They will continue conducting a million interviews even if you had banking experience and did well on your interview. So right now I am waiting for a call back to see if I got the position. My recruiter for my region in particular was very nice and easy to speak with. I’m currently waiting and hoping for the best now.

Interview
Straight forward interview. They asked general behavioral and technical questions, along with a few questions to get to know the interviewee better. It took a little while to hear back after first round though.
