Applied via a referral, initially was interested in a implementation role but they thought I'd be better off as a CSM.
Initial phone screen with HR, then phone screen with the hiring manager and finally onsite interview and a case study which included a presentation.
Questions were not overly difficult, but the onsite interview with 2 out of 3 was disappointing. It gave me the impression that they were not prepared nor did they seem interested in what exactly I had to say to them. The hiring manager is someone I could see myself working for and that was one of the only things that was a motivating factor for me.
Once I finished my interviews the HR person spoke to me about salary expectations and next steps.
I followed up a week later and the HR person has simply chosen to ignore my messages. So I guess this is the new way of handling rejections.
What really gets me is the amount of time and effort I put into the case study and the overall interview. I had to take time off to be onsite in Houston, TX.
The least that they could have done is say we are not moving forward but instead they simply went cold from their end. Very disappointed.
