I applied online. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies (Palo Alto, CA) in May 2015
Interview
I got an invitation for an "informal interview" and I received a sort of password about whom I would be looking for. I have received an email on Mother's day (Sunday) afternoon from a recruiter letting me know, that the initial recruiter is out of town for a week.
I showed up in time, the guy at the registration desc gave me directions where to go - surpass! door closed and nobody answered the ring for 10 min. I went back to the registration desk and the guy said I need to wait. after 17 minutes or so two young ladies showed up and took me to the kitchen where we spent half hour. They asked me very simple questions and then they let me ask them questions about the company. One of my questions was, that given the fact, that I am a mature person, and most of the employees I have seen so far are very young would they see any difficulty for me getting blended in the company's culture. Her answer: they can except all kind of new things, for example she made the "commute" between offices on rollerblade.
It was not exactly the answer I expected and I am still wondering if this lady is confusing the playfulness with immaturity.
My hiring process stopped at this stage, I received an automated email saying that I don't possess the qualifications for the position. It is a shame for a recruiter saying that, because there is no point in inviting someone for an interview without having the qualifications for the position. it speaks about the recruiter not the candidate. And by the way I do have the qualifications, I do have proof for that.
I have high regards toward the company's founders and executives and I loveto read about them, but I don't have a great impression about the recruiting coordinator and my interview process. No seriosity, no respect. I hope that this parody like interview is not typical for Palantir.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Just very simple questions. Nothing that you would not expect.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies in Apr 2025
Interview
Did not have a recruiter phone screen, jumped straight to an interview with another admin. About a week goes by, and they asked to fit two more interviews in ASAP with more admin team members. Fine, all good, I make myself available even though I’m traveling outside the US. One of the interviewers seems to be very sincere when she tells me she enjoyed our talk.
A week goes by, I follow up, and hear back the team is busy at an offsite. Another week goes by, I follow up, nothing. About three weeks later I received an email letting me know they “ determined that we do not have a position that is a strong match for your qualifications at this time.” But also I was great to work with during the process.

Interview
I recently interviewed for a [Job Title] position at [Company Name] and was truly surprised by how different the experience was from any other interview I've had. From the moment I walked into their office, I could tell this company had a unique and vibrant culture.
The interview itself was a mix of traditional questions about my experience and skills, but also included some really interesting and thought-provoking questions that allowed me to showcase my personality and creativity. The interviewer was friendly and engaging, and made me feel comfortable throughout the process.
What really stood out to me was the emphasis on cultural fit. They seemed genuinely interested in getting to know me as a person, and not just as a potential employee. I left the interview feeling energized and excited about the possibility of joining their team.
Pros:
Unique and engaging interview process
Friendly and approachable interviewer
Emphasis on cultural fit
Positive and energetic company culture
Cons:
Some of the questions were a bit unconventional, which might not be for everyone
Overall:
I highly recommend interviewing at [Company Name] if you're looking for a company that values creativity, personality, and a strong cultural fit. Even if I don't get the job, I'm grateful for the opportunity to have experienced their unique interview process.
Tips for other candidates:
Be prepared to answer some out-of-the-box questions
Relax and be yourself
Show your enthusiasm for the company and the role
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies in Nov 2022
Interview
Long winded, convoluted interview process. Most unusual interview process I’ve experienced, just three informal chats so it made it hard what the right answer was. Long waiting times between interviews and a long turnaround to get feedback.
