I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Palo Alto Networks (Santa Clara, CA)
Interview
Overall it was a long process - about 4 months from application to start date. Most interviews were over zoom and the final one was in person. I did go in on a referral which I think helped.

I applied through other source. I interviewed at Palo Alto Networks (Palo Alto, CA) in Oct 2023
Interview
Quick interview process: All candidates are interviewed by the entire hiring team, so there are no interview rounds. They will tell you that a panel chooses who gets selected for the role. Yet the hiring manager chooses; the panel ensures that there are substantial notes/justifications for who is chosen. Research the Values and try to include them in your responses.

Question 1
Two or three 2-Part Behavioral questions provided by HR that the interviewer must ask to all candidates. No real way to prepare other than to answer honestly and with detail.
I interviewed at Palo Alto Networks (San Jose, CA) in Feb 2022
Interview
It left me with mixed feelings. While the opportunity itself was exciting, the overall experience had its challenges.
**Interview Process**
The interview process was notably long. It involved multiple stages, including initial phone screenings, meeting multiple people, and several rounds of video interviews. While I understand the need for thoroughness, the extended duration made it difficult to maintain momentum and enthusiasm. Each stage was well-structured, and most of the interviewers were professional and courteous, which was a positive aspect.
**Communication and Feedback**
One of the most challenging aspects was the communication from the hiring team. After completing the final interview, there was a significant delay in receiving feedback. It took an unusually long time to hear back from the hiring manager, which added to the uncertainty and stress of the process. Clearer communication and timely updates would have greatly improved the experience.
