The recruiter reached out through LinkedIn and scheduled a call with the hiring manager. The recruiter was highly confused with my visa status and we had a couple of calls just to clarify the work status. The hiring manager was very experienced and asked all the relevant but tough questions around my experience and general questions. The recruiter never communicated about the next steps, whether yes or no.
