I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Panda Express (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2011
Interview
First was a phone screening with the HR lady. At the end of the phone conversation, she invited me for an on-site interview.
During the on-site interview, I first met with the HR person. Then I met with the supervisor of the position. Asked very standard questions.
My advice is to read the book, they really focus on it. Also make sure you know the company's mission statement and review their company culture.
